Family Structure Survey

Turkish Statistical Institute firstly conducted Family Structure Survey in the period of 10 June-08 August 2006 within the scope of the protocol made with Ministry of Family and Social Policies. The second application was conducted by Ministry of Family and Social Policies in 2011. Turkish Statistical Institute conducted the third Family Structure Survey in the period of 1 June-26 September 2016 within the scope of the protocol made between Turkish Statistical Institute and Ministry of Family and Social Policies. The sample size was designed as 17 239 households for producing estimates on total of Turkey, Statistical Regions (SR) Level 1 (12 geographical regions) and three major province level (İstanbul, İzmir Ankara). The survey was applied to 35 475 individuals aged 15 and over. This CD covers micro data sets that can be used for analyzing life styles in family environment and value judgements related to family life of individuals by some personal characteristics such as gender, age, education, working status, marriage, children information and by some household characteristics such as monthly household income group, features on dwelling etc. and covers explanations on these variables.
